Luigi Russolo’s Art of Noises 100th Anniversary

This week marks the 100th anniversary of Italian futurist composer Luigi Russolo’s manifesto, Art of Noises. In the document he argues for the inclusion of sounds of industry and the city within music. Here’s a recording from 100 years ago of the man himself reading from the work. Thanks to C. Reider for putting me onto this.
